Parish Events in December


WORSHIP

First Sunday, December 3rd, First Sunday of Advent:  We celebrate our common faith and life with one service of Holy Eucharist and the Baptism of Camaryn Warner at 9:30 a.m.   A festive coffee hour  and reception follows the service

Other Sundays: Holy Eucharist at 8 and 10:30 a.m.  On the third Sunday of the month there will be Morning Prayer with Holy Eucharist at the 8am service

Christmas Eve Service:  December 24th at 7:00pm.  Please join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus with music and the Holy Eucharist.

Wednesday Evening:  A service of Evening Prayer sometimes with Holy Eucharist begins at 4pm.  It includes reflection on Sunday’s Gospel lesson and prayers for healing.  Please note time change!

Communion at Bayside:  Lay Eucharistic Ministers from St. Paul’s take Communion to residents of Bayside Care Center, Morro Bay, every Sunday at 2:30pm.  

Altar Guild  meets on Thursday, December 28 at 10am in the Library.

FELLOWSHIP

Episcopal Church Women  meet at noon on Tuesday, December 12th for a potluck luncheon and Christmas Party.  Bring a white elephant for the gift exchange! Call Linda Turner for more information  924-1762.

Men’s Group will meet at the Redwood Café for breakfast on December 14 and 28.  For information, call Arnold Hagiwara at 995-1032.

MINISTRY

C.A.N. Food Distribution takes place at 6:30am on  December 7.  Call Glenn Cornell (927-2426) to offer help.

Caregivers Support Group meets at 9:30am on the first and third Thursdays of each month.  For more information call Gay Blundell, 927-3999.

Cambria CARES Board meets on the first Tuesday of the month.  Call Bill Blundell 927-3999 for more information.

Vestry  meets on Monday, December 4th at 7:00pm.

Needle and Loom Group meets at 1:00pm on Fridays to knit and needlepoint.    For information, call Phyllis Golowka at 927-0594.
