Dec 3: Advent begins! We will transition to Eucharistic Prayer B for the first part of Church Year B. 9:30 am service followed by birthday cake and the monthly Vestry meeting. Also this is the absolute deadline for cookie referrals.

Wreath readers needed. Sign up in the Parish Hall on the bulletin board near the Sunday and coffee hour schedules.
Attn: Lectors/Intercessors during Advent- If, on the Sunday you are serving, you find that no one is listed as wreath reader on the front of the bulletin, please also assume responsibility for reading the text for the wreath and light the wreath when prompted to do so on the sheet. The readings will be available from Father Brian.
Attn: Altar Guild during Advent – Please don’t light the previous week’s/weeks’ Advent candles before the service. They will be lit each week by the wreath readers.
Tues. Dec. 5- Grief group meets at 11 am

Women’s Spiritual Journey with The Rev. Donna Ross,
2 PM. CLASS IS FULL.
Bible study begins at 5:30 pm.
It is also the Feast Day of Saint Nicholas, Bishop of Myra.
Thurs. Dec 7-
Parish Office will close promptly at noon so that our Parish Administrator can attend a meeting in San Luis.
Food distribution at Santa Rosa Catholic Church begins at 2:15 pm
Friday, Dec 8- Marg. D. is asking for volunteers to help set up the Parish Hall in advance of the Dec. 9th Cookie Outreach Program. Meet at the hall at 1 PM.
Sat. Dec. 9- Cookie Outreach Day. Drop off cookies by 9 am. Packing begins at 9:30 am. ABLE-BODIED DELIVERY ELVES NEEDED. 2-person teams work well and makes the deliveries even more fun! Sign up on Sunday in the Parish Hall.
Poinsettia Offering forms will be available next week in the Sunday bulletin.
Guess who is celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 20th? I’ll give you a hint: Their first initials are J and D.
