Some important news this week in the life of the church:
She will really miss her church family back here in Cambria, so please drop her a note of cheer if you get the chance.
AFS-Pinedorado 5K Fun Run held over Labor Day Weekend. Paul is on the
CUHS Broncos cross country team and together with his parents Loretta and Ken, attends our 10:30 am services. Congrats again Paul!
(aka Grounds/Garden Clean up Day). Thank you to the volunteers who have come forward to help give our lovely grounds some much deserved TLC. Please bring your own rakes, brooms, pruners, loppers or other favorite tools, and water and sunscreen. A hot dog BBQ for all worker bees will be included. Many thanks to the Men of ABC for hosting the BBQ.
Afterward: Parish Portrait and Pie!
Immediately after church we will gather for a church family portrait, shot by Sonrisa Photography, and then conclude the day with our Annual Pie Social.
This ecumenical discussion group, led by the Rev. Donna Ross, will meet on the first Wednesday of each month, starting October 4. We meet in St. Paul's Library, from 2 - 3:30 p.m. All women of St. Paul’s (and interested friends) are invited to join us as we look at the life and meaning of Jesus through the writing of Jay Parini, Professor of English and Creative Writing at Middlebury College. To see an interview with Jay Parini on the PBS Newshour (8 minutes) go to http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/religion-july-dec13-jesus_12-25/
