Kate Hepworth
Kate, who was born in England, has lived in the United States for 15 years. The Central Coast has been her home for over 12 years, and she is an established piano teacher and an accomplished pianist. She has two children, Ethan, age seven, and Lily, age three.
While attending a Catholic Girls convent School in outer London, she performed on tour and for BBC Radio in the school’s “select” choir. She says she became a proficient pianist because she used to play instead of doing homework. She also has no doubt that being stuck inside with nothing to do on rainy English days also played a part in mastering the instrument.
