Focus on Stewardship

Surprise! It’s me again—Joni Michel.  I have accepted the job of Stewardship Chairman for another year and Bill Blundell has agreed again to write the narrative budget for 2006
    Our Stewardship window is October 2, 2005 through November 6, 2005.  Starting on October 2 we will have members of our congregation speaking about what Stewardship means to them each Sunday  for four weeks.  Our speakers include Bob Anderson, Marty Durrett, Ann Cichowski, Huntley Lewis, Bill Baker, Fred Stimson and Phyllis Golowka. Then on October 30 we will have one service at 9:30am followed by brunch and a presentation of the Narrative Budget.  Pastor Don’s  sermon that day will focus on Stewardship.  Stewardship packets will be handed out to all in attendance and mailed to everyone else .
    On the following Sunday, November 6th we will have an ingathering of our pledge cards and celebrate our offerings of time, talent and treasure with an Awesome Pie Social in the Parish Hall.
    I want to thank each person in this parish for all the work they do everyday to support our “small but mighty” St. Paul’s Church
